Clustering in nuclei at finite temperature

چکیده

We investigate the localization and clustering features in $^{20}\mathrm{Ne}$ $(N=Z)$ neutron-rich $^{32}\mathrm{Ne}$ nuclei at zero finite temperatures. The temperature Hartree-Bogoliubov theory is used with relativistic density-dependent meson-nucleon coupling functional DD-ME2. It shown that gradually weaken increasing disappear when shape phase transition occurs. Considering thermal fluctuations density profiles, vanish lower temperatures, compared to case without fluctuations. effect of pairing correlations on nucleon formation cluster structures are also studied Due inclusion calculations, preserved until critical temperatures for reached. Above transition, suddenly disappear, which differs from results pairing.

Pairing transition of nuclei at finite temperature

Pairing transition at finite temperature was investigated by the shell model and BCS calculations. The definitive signature of pairing transition is identified by a “transition temperature” Tt estimated from a “thermal” odd-even mass difference, while there is no sharp phase transition because of the finiteness of nucleus. It is found that Tt is in good agreement with predictions of critical te...

Low-energy multipole response in nuclei at finite temperature

The multipole response of nuclei at temperatures T = 0 − 2 MeV is studied using a self-consistent finite-temperature RPA (random phase approximation) based on relativistic energy density functionals. Illustrative calculations are performed for the isoscalar monopole and isovector dipole modes and, in particular, the evolution of low-energy excitations with temperature is analyzed, including the...

Quantum Monte Carlo Methods for Nuclei at Finite Temperature

We discuss finite temperature quantum Monte Carlo methods in the framework of the interacting nuclear shell model. The methods are based on a representation of the imaginary-time many-body propagator as a superposition of one-body propagators describing non-interacting fermions moving in fluctuating auxiliary fields. Fermionic Monte Carlo calculations have been limited by a “sign” problem. A pr...

Quarkonium at Finite Temperature

There was considerable interest in the properties and the fate of heavy quarkonium states at finite temperature since the famous conjecture by Matsui and Satz [1]. It has been argued that color screening in medium will lead to quarkonium dissociation above deconfinement, which in turn can signal quark gluon plasma formation in heavy ion collisions. The basic assumption behind the conjecture by ...

Quarkonium at finite temperature

Lattice QCD studies on charmonium at finite temperature are presented After a discussion about problems for the Maximum Entropy Method applied to finite temperature lattice QCD, I show several results on charmonium spectral functions. The “wave function” of charmonium is also discussed to study the spatial correlation between quark and anti-quark in deconfinement phase.
